Are you looking for some inspiration for British Science Week?
Have you searched Pinterest and asked ChatGTP but everything is going to take a lot of time to plan and resource?
Then stop searching and let us do it for you!
We've planned a great 45-50 minute workshops that explores 3 fun animal adaptaions:
🦎 We'll look at clever camouflage by painting colour changing chameleons that blend seamlessly with their surroundings.
🐧 Bird's wings are pretty important to them so we'll look at why their feathers are waterproof and what may happen if they weren't.
🦇 Bats have adapted to be the only mammals that can fly. Your intrepid scientists will use our motorised flying machines to investigate why their wings are so good.
As the workshops are entirely practical, they are suitable for one class at a time. However, we can do a LOT of classes in a day!
We can come for a whole day and run up to 6 workshops...
half a day to run sessions for 3 classes...
or even just come in for an individual session.
You choose what works best for your school and your other activites.
We run clubs and workshops from Early Years to Year 6 so we can tailor the session for any year group.
We know British Science Week can be very busy so these workshops are available to book for a week either side, from 3rd to 21st March.
Yes, during British Science Week, we travel all over the country so we can come to you.
It depends a little on area but broadly speaking, a full day is around £425, a half day is £260 and an individual session is £165.
If you are part of a trust or group (or just get on really well with your local schools!) the cost can be split.
