Our aim is to make practical science welcoming and accessible to children with a wide range of abilities and needs.
LoveScience franchisees receive training and support in working with children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), and our activities are designed to encourage participation rather than relying on literacy, numeracy or confidence in traditional classroom settings.
We recognise that every child is different. Schools, nurseries and other organisations are encouraged to let us know about any individual needs when making arrangements for a session so that appropriate adjustments can be considered wherever reasonably possible.
Known limitations
We are continually working to improve the accessibility of our website. Some content, particularly older content or material provided by third-party services, may not currently meet every accessibility standard.
Where we become aware of an accessibility issue, we will consider how it can be addressed and prioritise improvements according to their impact on users.
Third-party websites and booking platforms linked to from our website are outside our control, and their accessibility is governed by the relevant provider.
