That's where we can help. LoveScience has been created by teachers with years of science education experience and a real passion to help primary schools deliver exciting science lessons without a whole lot of extra work for staff.

100% practical workshops
Practical work is SO important for embedding the science curriculum but the planning and prep can be far too time consuming - an hour to plan and set up for a 5 mintute experiment just isn't sustainable.
Our workshops solve that problem!
In each 1.5 hour workshop, your class will so a series of experiments that fit in the curriculum, learn topic specific vocabulary and be introduced to critictal thinking skills.
You will also have access to online resources for the workshop to consolidate learning beyond our visit.
We don't do shows or demos - our workshops are entirely practical, there isn't even any reading or writing! This means that all children can access every activity regardless of language or SEND.

After school clubs
After school clubs are a great way of squeezing even more science into your day!
They run for an hour after school and each term has a range of differnt topics covering biology, chemistry and physics so there is something for everyone.
Every child takes home something we have made during the session so there is plenty of opportunity to carry on the science at home.
